Scott Charles Gruskin
Partner and Senior Analyst

Scott is an extremely creative and intelligent Walmart analyst. His focus on the retail consumer as well as Walmart ensures long term success for Walmart suppliers. He has over 35 years’ experience working with Walmart data, 11 years of which has been at Root Cause Analytics LLC. He is an expert at identifying root causes and he assesses available data quickly, creates automated solutions whose output are excel documents that he explains to our clients.

Scott has extensive and varied experience both working in and consulting for Walmart suppliers. He is particularly brilliant at summarizing complex and voluminous data and making it comprehensible to both the Walmart supplier and Walmart personnel. To increase sales and optimize scorecard results, Scott is able to direct assortment adjustments to enhance the relationship between Walmart and the supplier. He identifies and creates plans of action such as promotions and/or repackaging for aged inventory Scott creates operational excellence by monitoring supply chain activities including OTIF, SQEP, and forecasting. He distributes weekly reports with weekly, monthly, 8-week, 13-week, and yearly data. Scott also creates reports comparing the data to last year.

Scott is available to help solve additional specific problems by running ad hoc analyses down to the store level. Scott has the patience and expertise to explain any of the results you don’t understand. He will not leave you in the dark. Scott has a B.A. in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Rochester with a 3.7/4 GPA, and studied at the London School of Economics for six months during his undergraduate program.

Chad Brown
Partner, Broker/Representative

Chad has been the charismatic sales representative and broker working with Walmart for over 28 years. He speaks Walmart’s language and knows how to direct suppliers regarding all communications with Walmart be they positive or potentially challenging. When your emails are not being responded to, Chad can assess the situation and help you determine if they are too long or too short and revise them with you. Chad directs and mentors the suppliers in their relationship with Walmart to come up with a quick action plan and facilitate a healthy, lucrative relationship with Walmart. Located in Bentonville, steps away from Walmart headquarters, he has a productive relationship with many of the buying team at Walmart. He meets with both buyers and/or with suppliers.

He strategizes to keep existing products on the shelves and in the other omnichannels including Walmart Marketplace and their online store. Chad arranges for products and documents to be delivered to the appropriate people at Walmart so it gets to the right person on time.

He also works with the client to understand the weekly reporting and acts as the go-between between the supplier and Scott, the his Partner and the Senior Analyst at Root Cause Analytics.

Chad is a native to Northwest Arkansas and his entire family is rooted there.

Stephanie Parish
Operational Data Manager

Stephanie has been the guru of operational data management and administration for Walmart at Root Cause Analytics for 13 years. She is the person behind the scenes who knows how to work within Walmart’s complex data systems to get the supplier the necessary results and to keep things running smoothly. Walmart’s systems are complicated and Walmart expects the suppliers to know how to navigate the systems with very little training. Root Cause Analytics is that training.

Howard Scott

Howard is an accomplished marketer and sales trainer.  He and Scott began working together in 1987, developing and implementing  sales and marketing strategies.  Howard has been introducing our newest prospective companies to  the advantages and benefits of utilizing Root Cause Analytics LLC.  Howard  is instrumental in explaining how you can partner with RCA on the road to becoming a Walmart Strategic Partner.

Howard is very passionate about sharing RCA’s mission statement with our newest prospective clients.  He assists with guiding them through the initial information sharing, getting involved with our offerings, and consulting on our levels of service.

Howard is very concerned with assisting our newest clients  through our  impressive data and reporting capabilities, designed for everyday analysis in running your business.  RCA enjoys his enthusiastic attitude and his feeling of accomplishment when helping our clients.
